THE RAF "AGGRESSORS" SQUADRON
First operational as a bomber Station, Leeming became a Training Command airfield at the end of the Second World War, until a major refurbishment programme began to prepare the Station to operate the Tornado F3. RAF Leeming is responsible for the Air Defence of the United Kingdom in conjunction with RAF Leuchars, RAF Coningsby and is assigned to NATO as part of the Immediate Reaction Force (Air). Since september 1994, No100 Squadron operated from Leeming with its Hawks as a RAF “Aggressor” squadron.RAF - LEEMING
